Northrop Grumman Financial Analyst 2 in Middle River, Maryland

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Financial Analyst2. The position is located in Middle River, MD. This position will be in support of the BACN (Battlefield Airborne Communications Node).

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing financial analysis for the PMO and contributes to all finance-related CDRLs (Contracts Data Requirements List)

  • Supporting month/year end financial activities

  • Preparing and coordinating the plans and schedules for new or existing programs

  • Determining, monitoring, and reviewing costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements

  • Analyzing effects of projects upon the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources

  • Assessing the progress against established plans and parameters

  • Formulating and recommending corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or business and 3 years of experience in providing analytical support in a budget management environment or a Master's and 1 year or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Experience in using MS Office Suite of tools: Excel, Word and PowerPoint Experience supporting DoD contracts from a business management perspective

  • Experience with DoD reporting

  • Experience with Earned Value reporting and associated CDRLS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in a DOD contracting environment

  • Proficient in Business Warehouse and SAP

  • Qualified with CAS
