The Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is currently hiring experienced Computer Systems Analysts for the USSOUTHCOM program.
These positions are located in Doral, FL (Miami, FL area).
Role & Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
Develop computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
Establish and document system parameters and formats.
Ensure hardware and software systems compatibility.
Coordinate and/or modify system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
Revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements and storage.
Develop computer systems specifications that address business requirements and tolerance for system availability and that fit with the organization's system architecture standards.
Identify mission requirements and system needs during a COOP/DR event.
Plan and coordinate periodic testing of COOP/DR systems and procedures.
Research new and emerging technologies to improve existing computer storage systems.
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Serve as the Knowledge Management (KM) advisor and consultant to organizational leadership.
Responsible for establishing, developing, facilitating, implementing, and maintaining the command KM program policies, procedures, and governance using approved business practices and technologies.
