Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Systems Architect Engineer 5 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements. Defines design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications. Develops thorough definition of system external interfaces. Defines system implementation approach and operational concept. Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customer.
Bachelor's Degree in a (STEM) Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 14+ years ofsystem architectureengineering experience OR Master's Degree in (STEM) Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and 12+ years ofsystem architectureengineering experience or a PhD in a (STEM) Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 9+ years of system architectureengineering experience
14+ years of experience with the design and development of system architectures, key capabilities and performance requirements
14+ years of experience with logical detailed interface documentation
Active DOD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
- In Scope DOD Secret with SAP Access
