Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
Although not required to start this position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret clearance as well as Program Special Access within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Job Duties will be as follows:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for training systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Will perform specification development and have DOORs experience.
Will perform requirement and verification activities for all levels of a total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance.
Will support device and courseware leads
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience OR a Masters Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of Systems Engineering experience.
1+ years of DOORs experience.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 1+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
