Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Proposal Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
Candidates for this position will lead/support proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration with other team members.
They will demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced across interpersonal, business, and proposal based capabilities; a commitment to ethics and integrity; and the capability to innovate in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Develops, plans and schedules proposals.
Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts.
Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business or Finance with 15+ years of combined experience in Pricing & Estimating, Proposal Management, Business Management, Subcontracts or Contract Management experience OR
Master's degree from an accredited university in Business or Finance and 13+ years of combined experience in Pricing & Estimating, Proposal Management, Business Management, Subcontracts or Contract Management experience
4+ years of DoD Contracting experience, knowledge and understanding of Material Estimating and Proposal Analysis including Pricing, Price/Cost Analysis, and Proposal Adequacy as prescribed in DFAR (DFARS proposal adequacy checklist) is required.
Knowledge and understanding of estimating and proposal analysis
Master's degree and 6+ years of experience in DoD contracting experience.
Communication and collaboration skills in order to support different levels of management, integrated product teams and subcontract management teams.
Knowledge of the government regulations of FAR and DFARS.
Proficient in using ProPricer.
