Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Project Management 3 or Project Managment 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located onsite in Palmdale, California or Melbourne, Florida.

Essential Functions:

This position is seeking a highly motivated, strong communicator to join the Global Supply Chain Program Management (GSCPM) - Integration & Affordability team. This position will be in fast-paced, classified environment supporting a bi-coastal team.

Tasks include:

Integration

Establishes rhythms, processes, and tool aids to synchronize Global Supply Chain (GSC) functions across the enterprise.

Presents to enterprise leadership on program and business status. Manage up and out and prepare business stakeholders and leadership for program meetings.

Manages GSC STRIKE Battle Rhythm and coordinates amongst program peers to remain aligned with enterprise rhythm

Drive tool creation bring visibility to leadership

Coordinates amongst GSC Leaders and program stakeholders on key initiatives. Prepares briefings and artifacts to status GSC team and program on frequent basis.

Affordability

Coordinates with business stakeholders to identify and implement potential initiatives. Communicates plan and status to program leadership through classified and unclassified data calls.

Baseline, Monitor/Control and Reporting

Manages material and/or labor control portfolios related to the GSC Statement of work

Provides the progress of work against the schedule and update forecast based in conjunction with cost planners and business stakeholders.

Reviews sales forecast with business stakeholders and implement changes. Communicates updates and status on monthly basis to leadership.

Identifies scope changes and coordinates budget and schedule impacts with business management as well as business stakeholders via Change Requests. Supports program development of Change Board packages.

Analyzes and reports significant cost and schedule variances to business stakeholders. Develop and complete the variance analysis report (VAR) and close outstanding action items.

RIO

Facilitates and aids development of major stakeholders in Risk, Issue and Opportunity and bring to the program. Exercises and tracks mitigation steps to close actions.

Change Execution

Reviews change board packages and assesses for potential impacts

Coordinate swith Cost Management to process budget/scope and/or EAC EVCR

Tracks implementation of scope change to closure

Basic Qualifications:

LEVEL 3:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of business experience, Master's Degree with 4 years of business experience or in lieu of degree with High School Diploma and at least 10 years of business experience in supply chain management, logistics, subcontracts management, contracts management, proposal price/cost analysis, and/or strategic sourcing.

  • Must have an ACTIVE Secret DoD Clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

  • Intermediate MS Excel Skills

  • Intermediate SAP Skills

Basic Qualifications:

LEVEL 4:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of business experience, Master's Degree with 8 years of business experience or in lieu of degree with High School Diploma and at least 14 years of business experience in supply chain management, logistics, subcontracts management, contracts management, proposal price/cost analysis, and/or strategic sourcing.

  • Must have an ACTIVE Secret DoD Clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

  • Intermediate MS Excel Skills

  • Intermediate SAP Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace background

  • Supply chain, cost mgmt. or CAMs

  • SAP

  • CAM Certified

  • MS office Suite knowledge

Salary Range: $74,600 - $111,800

Salary Range 2: $86,300 - $129,500

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
