Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Radar Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
Technical competency in military airborne radar across multiple bands, with maritime applications.
Development of radar and/or tracker requirements
Conducting trade studies
Working with systems and software engineering to implement requirements
Informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements, troubleshooting of hardware in lab
Supporting flight test activities, resolution of flight test anomalies
Supplier management and responding to customer inquiries
The candidate will perform Cost Account Management (CAM) and provided direct input to Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of electronics engineering experience OR
Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 3 years of electronics engineering experience OR
PhD Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university
Demonstrated experience in airborne radar
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Interim Secret level security clearance prior to start
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Experience in military airborne radar
Demonstrated experience designing radar tracking systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
