Northrop Grumman is seeking aProject Management 4 at the Center of Excellence (CoE) in Melbourne, Florida.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Position will support the Infrastructure Manager in the design, build, and maintenance of the Program Infrastructure, Integrated Digital Data Environment, and the Program Management application toolset. Coordinates closely with program IPTs, functional organizations and shared services.
Effectively interacts with senior program leadership, customers, suppliers, and other internal and external personnel on significant matters that affect the program.
·Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in project management OR
·Master’s degree and 8 years of experience in project management
·10 years' experience with2 years' experience working on DOD programs, Project Management with Integrated Management Framework, Product Data Management/Product Lifecycle ManagementSystems.
·Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain it
·Abilty to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
·Project Management Professional Certification
·Previous Software development experience
·Direct experience with large scale software application deployment; Experience with IT infrastructure (both hardware and software).
