Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Project Manager 3, reporting to theLogistics Integration Manager. This position will be located at the Manned Aircraft Design Center of Excellence (CoE) in Melbourne, Florida.
Areas of responsibility include management of projects and budgets; assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and team goals and objectives; developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving. Candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards; demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex tasks; be able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:
Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
Perform complex assignments independently without appreciable direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
Serve as consultant to management for project management and execution.
Translate concepts and ideas into executive level presentation material
Prepare and manage project schedule and budgets to include EVMS and prepare status reports on the health of the projects. - Identify risks and opportunities and coordinate with project teams to mitigate and retire risks.
Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Primary POC for Product Support facilities, and SDRL management
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 6 years of experience
Must have Experience with the Change Process and Review Boards
Must have Intermediate proficiency with all Microsoft Office suite applications, with emphasis on Excel and SharePoint
Must have An Active, In-Scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 yearsand the ability to obtainprogram access
Experience working on Military programs
Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office suite applications, with emphasis on Exceland SharePoint
Experience with SDRL tracking
