Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Management 2 at the Center of Excellence (CoE) in Melbourne, Florida.
This role is within the Program Integration Team in the Strike Division in Melbourne, FL. The Project Manager reports directly to the CPLM Manager. Responsibilities include overall programmatic operation and integration. Coordination with internal customers, external customers, partners, suppliers, and homeroom personnel to ensure program tools (e.g., Teamcenter) issues, resolutions, and schedules are managed. Prepares high level quad charts, presentation slides, and metrics. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers. Manage and lead Program Operations tasks through implementation of Project Management principles.
This is a high visibility role that gets to integrate vertically and horizontally across the IPT to ensure successful program execution. This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities, and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel may be required.
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in project management OR
Master's degree and 1+ year of experience in project management
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain it
Abilty to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
Special Program Access
Experience with Program Tools (Teamcenter, CPLM, Etc.)
