Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Engineer 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
Project Engineer is to provide engineering leadership, analysis, and execution support for the development of innovative systems. Focus is on change and technical integration of complex issues as well as how our solutions affect our program costs and schedules.
The Selected Candidate should have areas of expertise in areas including: change integration and management, technical and program review boards leadership, cross IPT technical integration, lab capability development, supporting chief engineers in defect analysis and path forwards, integrated function capabilities, integration of payloads, proposal development, management of engineering change proposals, and execution and management of change requests. Project Engineering helps ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product needs or actions into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

·Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 9 years of experience in experience in one or more of the following specialized skills: project engineering, software engineering (IFC), aerospace engineering, system engineering, system integration OR
·Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 7 years of experience in experience in one or more of the following specialized skills: project engineering, software engineering (IFC), aerospace engineering, system engineering, system integration.
• An active DoD Secret clearance with an investigation in the past 5 years
• Master of science in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field preferred
• Strong technical and project management trouble-shooting skills within the engineering field
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
• Strong team-building/partnership skills
