Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is currently seeking a Program Cost, Schedule and Control Analyst to assist with all business activities associated with a rapidly growing Restricted Program. This position reports to the Program's Business Manager and supports the Program Management Team achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Prepares budgets and schedules for small-to-medium sized programs.
Performs financial analyses, validates data, and researches financial transactions.
Updates MPM system, maintains EVMS artifacts, and monitors funding availability.
Prepares spreadsheets, charts, and monthly financial reports related to cost / schedule performance.
Updates estimates-to-complete, resource plans, and project schedules.
Participates in proposal preparation and ensures accurate pricing.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business with a minimum of 3 years applicable experience or a Master's degree and 1 year of experience or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Technical skills in financial analysis, accounting.
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Must possess an Active Secret Clearance adjudicated in the last 6 years.
Position is contingent upon being able to obtain Special Program Clearance within 90 days of hire.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Special Program Access
Experience with MPM, Cobra, Winsight, SAP
Experience with MS Project and/or Scheduling
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS)
Understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, Commercial contracts and the FAR.
