Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System s is seeking a qualified Principal Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst 3 (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst 3 (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL supporting the enterprise Project Control and Financial Analysis to the AEW BMC2 Program Area. This position requires the ability to work on site daily in Melbourne, FL.

Essential Functions:

This Program Cost Control Analyst position will support project control activities along with financial analysis. Under minimal supervision, this position will interface with the program managers, control account managers, functional management, and senior leadership to provide project control duties, financial and administrative support, and analysis to meet program requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting and Planning processes

  • Supports development of consolidated program Long Range Strategic Plans and Annual Operating Plans

  • Supports management of program area financials, including: financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, estimate at completion analysis, and working capital analysis, accounts receivable forecasting, treasury forecasting, unbilled analysis, and aged receivables analysis

  • Supports Earned Value Management tasks including; establishment of work breakdown structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, maintenance and analysis/ justifications of estimates to complete, and support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis. Executes and supports Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation

  • Works with the business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics & to support the management and reporting requirements for the program

  • Supports initiatives and ad hoc requests from Division, Sector, and Corporate leadership

Basic Qualifications (Level 3):

  • Master's degree with 3 years experience or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business, finance, accounting, program control, and/or similar industry related fields.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • 2 years applied experience with Earned Value & performance measurement baseline concepts with external government reporting

  • Experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm

  • This position requires an Active DOD Secret Clearance, with investigation completed within the last 5 years, as well as ability to obtain a Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • Ability to work on-site daily in Melbourne, FL

Basic Qualifications (Level 4):

  • Master's degree with 7 years experience or a Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience in business, finance, accounting, program control, and/or similar industry related fields.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • 2 years applied experience with Earned Value & performance measurement baseline concepts with external government reporting

  • Experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm

  • This position requires an Active DOD Secret Clearance, with investigation completed within the last 5 years, as well as ability to obtain a Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • Ability to work on-site daily in Melbourne, FL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or business-related discipline

  • Working knowledge of Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) processes and procedures

  • Experience with Excel including Macros, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP

  • Experience with Indirect budget planning and forecasting

  • Experience with the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan processes

  • Experience planning Capital and IR&D investments

  • Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR

  • an Active DOD Secret Clearance, with investigation completed within the last 5 years, as well as ability to obtain a Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Salary Range: $74,600 - $111,800

Salary Range 2: $92,400 - $138,600

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
