Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for aProject Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
To actively work with Leadership to ensure success of the program
Identify Opportunities to save cost and/or schedule to bring more value to our customer and improve performance
Working with many of the program IPTs to help monitor, analyze, and handle leadership flow down
Manage Program Rhythm and Staffing
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
A Bachelor'sDegree from an accredited institution majored in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field with 6 years of related project management experience ORa Master's Degree with4 years of experience.
Active secret clearance (last investigation completed within last5 years); ability to attain and maintain program access (PAR)
Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
Previous experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
