Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Melbourne, FL .

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Also, serves as Top Secret Control Officer responsible for safeguarding top secret material, including origination, marking, accounting for, storage, duplication, transmission, and destruction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SAP access

  • 6 years Industrial Security or related experience with Bachelors; OR 4 years Industrial Security or related experience with Masters OR an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.

  • Experience with DoD Manuel 5205.07 Vol. 1-4 and ICD-705

  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables. Hands on, self-starting, disciplined and detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

  • Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience using security management software and applications.

  • Efficient, proactive, responsive team player with excellent written and oral communication skills; able to interface effectively with all levels of corporate management and government customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Supply Chain Security process and procedures

  • CPSO experience working within Special Access Programs

  • Extensive background in classified programs and thorough understanding of government security regulations

  • Working knowledge of the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD's), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and Supplement Information system security experience desired.

  • Experience as a Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC) working in corporate and/or government environments with industrial security duties in support of Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs, Completion of an accredited/approved CSSO course; other professional accreditations and certifications.

Salary Range: $76,600 - $115,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
