Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager Programs 2 for Project Integration to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

Position Summary:

This position is within the Strike Program Integration Team IPT and reports directly to Program leadership. A successful candidate will direct all phases of CPLM and cERP projects from inception through completion. Responsible for identification and management of CPLM and cERP program priorities while meeting schedule, budget, and technical requirements. Acts as primary contact for program activities and leads a group of direct reports who develop new business processes. Works with the ES IPT to establish milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules. Proactively identifies program issues and develops solutions. Coordinates with internal customers, external customers, partners, suppliers, and sector homerooms to ensure that critical program training and engineering tools (e.g., NGC CPLM Tool Suite) have the required capabilities, delivery schedule, user support, and integration with other business tools to facilitate efficient and effective program execution. Acts as the liaison with external customers, partners, suppliers, and Sector homeroom staff on behalf of internal customers and ensure program needs are correctly communicated and prioritized. Provides visibility into issue status and resolution progress for all critical program engineering tools. Responsible for gathering and vetting program requirements for enhancements from internal customers and coordinates with external stakeholders, as well as participate in Sector configuration management decisions on critical program tools.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience within defense / aerospace industry

  • Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in any of the following: Program Management; Project Management; or Software Project Management

  • Thorough knowledge of Engineering, Manufacturing, Analysis, and Data Management processes

  • Experience with Engineering CPLM tool suite example Teamcenter,

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working projects collaboratively across both Program and Functional organizations

  • Demonstrate extensive experience with performance metrics and analysis

  • Active DoD Secret with full investigation in the last 6 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree 10+ years of experience within defense / aerospace industry

  • Certification in Systems Engineering or other Engineering Degrees

  • Experience managing IT projects, particularly development/deployment of a significant tool (e.g., ERP/SAP/MES systems)

  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining strong customer relationships

  • Must have successful experience on more than one occasion presenting to and interacting with executive or senior leadership (Director and above)

  • Track record of leadership success with substantial DoD and/or Intelligence Community programs

  • Supplier / IWO management experience

  • Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance level

  • Excellent executive-level written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage budgets, schedules and executive support
