Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Maintenance Electrician 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located on site in Melbourne, Florida .
The Maintenance Electrician 3 will work in an industrial environment collaborating with Facilities Engineers, Planners, and Schedulers.
Essential Functions:
Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs online manufacturing equipment as well as building infrastructure
Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions
Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs
Understanding lock out, tag out, and Arc Flash Hazards, PPE
Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment
May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment and electrical systems
May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required
Basic Qualifications for the Level 3 Maintenance Electrician:
High School diploma/GED and 4 years of electrician experience
Basic computer (including Microsoft office), math, analytical, and planning skills
Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Ability to Walk, Stoop, Kneel, Work at Heights, Work in Confined Spaces, Work on Roofs, Push / Pull and Lift / Carry 35 lbs. or more.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Degree or some college
Experience with Maximo CMMS
Experience in other trades
Active Secret Clearance
Electrical certification(s)

Salary Range: $54,400 - $90,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
