The Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Sr. Data Insight Analyst to support our Global Supply Chain team.
The candidate will work with Corporate GSC and across sectors and other functions to identify and resolve data integrity and reporting issues.
Required to understand and have experience in specifying, collecting, processing and presenting information from potentially several disparate data sets
Generates actionable knowledge from data
Develop recurring reporting routines, processes, and schedules
Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills necessary for quickly developing recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data from many different types of sources
Ability to identify patterns and higher-level information from all the data sources through use of tools and application programming
Understands the general problem space and is confident in explaining the different insights generated from the data
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma and 14 years of related supply chain, contracts, business management and/or related field, will consider a BA 10 years of experience or a master's degree with 8 years of experience in related field
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Significant experience with Costpoint and SAP
Understanding of ERP and MRP system functionality and reporting capabilities
Ability to extract and manipulate data from databases (e.g., SQL)
Proficient in data visualization using Tableau or similar visualization tool.
Experience collaborating on projects with multiple teams, managing relationships, and communicating findings to audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Python Programming
Experience with Supply Chain related data analytics
Experience with data storage and retrieval techniques, ETL, and databases.
Experience with U/X design principles
Ability to work with the utmost confidentiality when applicable
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a team
Solid statistical understanding and exposure to more advanced disciplines, such as machine learning
Salary Range: $99,900 - $164,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
