Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking an Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) Program Manager 1 to join our growing team of diverse professionals our sector headquarters in McLean, Virginia .
This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.
Responsibilities:
Provides full-time, on-site, dedicated support to the Task Order (TO) Manager
Responds effectively and rapidly to TO requirements as delegated by the Task Order Manager
Serves as the alternate point of contact with the MCTSP Program Manager (PM) for all technical requirements in the TO and the supervisor for Contractor employees assigned to this TO
Maintains availability 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, during normal operating hours, and availability to meet with the Government Program Manager, Mission Training Complex (MTC) Commanders, and/or the Contracting Officer/Contracting Officer’s Representative (KO/COR) in person or by phone within 45 minutes of notification during normal operating hours
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional leadership experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing projects or programs of similar size, scope, and complexity
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing an office executing numerous contracts covering multiple functional areas
Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)
Must be able to work on-site in McLean, Virginia
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
Knowledge of Army Training management
Battalion or higher Command or Operations assignment, equivalent FA57 assignment, or Civilian or Corporate equivalent.
Graduate of Command and General Staff College (CGSC) with Intermediate Level Education / Military Education Level 4 (ILE or MEL 4), Senior Service College, or equivalent military or DoD Civilian schooling
Experience in operations or training requirements at Division or higher level, or equivalent Civilian or Corporate level of responsibility
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Army MTC
Salary Range: $126,600 - $189,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
