Northrop Grumman is seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team in McClellan / Sacramento, CA.
The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. They will work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools. They may disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, as well as make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- High School diploma (or equivalent) and 4+ years of relevant experience
Ability to solder to the J-Std, or IPC-610 and IPC-620
Must have good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple jobs with minimum supervision, establish priorities, and report job status in a timely manner
Must be mechanically inclined and pay close attention to detail
Must have a high degree of patience, adapt to change easily, and have a high level of motivation to complete tasks promptly
Salary Range: $48,600 - $81,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
