Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Field Service Representative (FSR) Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on a program at the Autonomous Systems Center of Excellence. This position will be located to Mayport, FL, with final assignment location being United Arab Emirates .
As a Sr. Principal Field Service Representative (FSR) Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and test of electronic systems and solutions that keep our world safe. This includes the development and test of various electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
The selected candidate must be able to apply engineering principles and techniques to provide support to the Mission Systems Integration Product Team (IPT) in the integration, test and delivery of sensors and payloads.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform field integration, troubleshooting and repair of communications and data link systems in military flight test environment, including operations on a flightline, in a hangar, and in command-and-control centers.
Perform/support review and analysis of supplier design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration
Responsible for the testing, maintenance, and integration of Payloads and Sensors equipment to include radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
Interface with design engineers, system administrators, maintainers and other support personnel to troubleshoot and repair any payloads-related issues.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 9 years of experience in Engineering; OR Masters of Science Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 7 years of experience in Engineering; OR PhD in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 4 years of experience in Engineering
Active DOD Top Secret security clearance, US Citizenship required
Experience with coding & scripting languages (i.e., MATLAB, Python)
Ability to learn data analysis processes and techniques
Ability to perform System Integration and communicate complex technical concepts to program leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, organization skills, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience in System Integration
Experience working with Sensors
Experience in a development environment
Experience with Post-Flight Analysis
Experience supporting large scale Test effort
Experience with aerospace development, production, or operations

Salary Range: $112,000 - $168,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
