Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Material Process Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Manhattan Beach, CA.
The selected candidateis a self-starter responsible for supporting macroelectronic materials and process engineering. Must have a good understanding of electrical parts, materials and processes. The candidate will participate in program reviews, failure analysis and qualification review boards in support of PM&P issues. Tasks will include analysis and review of a variety of materials including metals, adhesives and coatings. This position requires a leader as well as a team player who will have significant interaction with management, and engineering personnel from other areas. Must be able to formulate detailed instructions/test plans and be the lead in their execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of software engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Materials, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
