Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Macroelectronic Materials and Processes Engineer T02 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

The selected candidate will participate in developing innovative solutions to a host of materials and process problems supporting various space, aircraft, and ground systems.

Require a self-starter responsible for supporting macroelectronic materials and process engineering. Must have a good understanding of electrical parts, materials and processes. The candidate will participate in program reviews, failure analysis and qualification review boards in support of PM&P issues. Tasks will include analysis and review of a variety of materials including metals, adhesives and coatings. This position requires a leader as well as a team player who will have significant interaction with management, and engineering personnel from other areas. Must be able to formulate detailed instructions/test plans and be the lead in their execution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university

  • Minimum of 2 years experience

  • The ability to obtain program access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials, Electrical or Chemical Engineering

  • Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

  • Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance
