Job Description:
Responsible for processes and activities within supply chain related operations and/or compliance such as regulatory compliance, systems and technology, data analytics and performance, international supply chain, operational excellence and supply base diversity.
Manages, develops or supports strategic direction and tactical execution of governance (policy, procedure, processes, etc.), priorities, initiatives and related activities.
Supports a team-based material organization. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including materials planning, total quality management, procurement, supplier quality assurance, finance, materials systems, customer service, etc. The incumbents may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal customers and suppliers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of the material function.
Knowledge, skills and ability: Use and/or application of principles, theories, and concepts. Knowledge of industry practices and standards. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform professional tasks.
Problem solving: Develops solutions to a variety of problems.
Discretion/Latitude: Works under only very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact: Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally be detected in supervisory oversight.
Liaison: Frequent internal company contacts. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, and other personnel in the section or group. Represents section or group on specific projects.
Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Lead, educate, coach, and mentor team members through lean manufacturing (PES) principles and initiatives, standard work development, and 5S activities.
Help create solutions to improve and simplify work.
Communicate effectively, initiate and drive necessary actions to completion to ensure that organizational goals are accomplished.
Support teams during problems solving and makes sound business decisions.
Prioritizes, coordinates and expedites maintenance PMs and work orders for the entire group.
Inventory and Receiving Costpoint SME
Materials Systems (MITS/COST) SME
Prioritizes, coordinates and expedites maintenance PMs and work orders for the entire group.
Act as the POC for property, material and explosive buildings
Forklift trainer, able to certify and perform forklift training duties.
Primary small package /LTL shipping. Hazmat shipping is required.
Financial Invoicing/billing for Bacchus and Clearfield Utah plants.
Act as a backup in Traffic, Receiving and Stores.
Experienced power industrial driver using various types of lifts. (Narrow isle, Sit-down, electric pallet Jack and Cherry Picker.
Act as a backup in Traffic, Receiving and Stores.
Travel between Bacchus and Clearfield as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typical Minimum Education / 10 years+ High school diploma; 3+ Years with Bachelors; 1+ Years with Masters. BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Finance preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
8 or more years with a narrow isle lift.
8 or more years with a sit-down forklift.
4 or more years with an electric pallet jack.
8 or more years using an ERP system (Cost Point preferred)
Understands shelf-life controls, usage life and environmental history materials.
Experienced shipping materials
10 or more years working in receiving, warehousing or shipping environment.
Hazmat certified, understanding of the 49CFR.
Explosive handling
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to receive a Secret Clearance
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work.
Willing to think outside the box to find ways to improve our work process.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off
Salary Range: $60,600 - $90,800
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
