Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is currently seeking a Electronics Technician 3 , to work at our Bacchus Facility in Magna, Utah .
This candidate will work closely with a team of Electrical Engineers as Technical Lead supporting Test Equipment Manufacture and testing, electrical/electronic device refurbishments and manufacturing in support of multiple Programs for item qualification/acceptance testing. Candidate to be experienced in soldering/assembling work for circuit boards (will be expected to certify to J STD-001S), cable harnesses, electronic enclosures and racks, instrumentation experience and be able to perform troubleshooting tasks from board level to top assembly and integrated levels (expected to be resource for resolution of problems and issues). Will be experienced with implementation of equipment at test facilities and understand electrical integration complexities. This candidate will require limited supervision while working in an electronics lab with a small team of electronic technicians filling a technical lead position. Will be very familiar with planning and test processes and provide technical input as well as recommended process improvements. Will work closely with peers and small group of engineers while providing technical input to engineers and also work frequently with customers outside of the organization.
• High School Diploma and 6 years additionanl relevant education and/or experience, AS degree is desired.
• Primary location of work will be at Bacchus campus with possible occasional need for local travel and support at Utah Promontory facility.
