Northrop Grumman Systems Administrator 3 in Linthicum, Maryland

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Mid-level Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD with travel required up to 25% of the time.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's new classified program providing a Network Operations Center (NOC), a Security Operations Center (SOC), and encrypted network services to multiple customer sites.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a server infrastructure for a new classified program. The server environment will include physical servers in a High Availability Cluster environment, virtual severs, SAN storage, Fibre Channel switches. Servers will be Windows Server 2016 Operating System.

Provide regular contact and coordination with the architect, network engineers, and security analysts on the program

Use tools to monitor performance and provide status and solutions to growing needs

Design/implement changes resulting from change board or as needed

Review, test, and implement 1st and 3rd party patching as well as Security configuration hardening per RMF/JSIG requirements (STIGs)

Manage Backups/Restores

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and5 years' experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Minimum3 years' experience as a systems administrator

Experience working with RMF/JSIG from an IT perspective

Experience working with customers in a classified space

Experience operating, maintaining, and updating physical and virtual servers in a data center environment

Experience with Windows Server

Security+ Certification

Active TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

Experience with CITRIX HDX

MCSE 2016 Server Administrator Certification
