Northrop Grumman Supply Chain Planning Specialist 3 in Linthicum, Maryland

LAC4ISR Divisionis in search of an experienced and talented individual to join the Advanced Tactical Systems (ATS) Business Unit. The Supply Chain Planning Specialist (SCPS) will provide support to the Program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of a program. The candidate must understand the all aspects of Global Supply Chain - materials management, procurement, subcontracts, cost budgets and supplier quality to support engineering, production, logistics in the performance of their roles and responsibilities.

In proposal phase, the SCPS will work with the Program team during the pricing of all material requirements, prepare proposal pricing inputs and support the team in the development of supplier capabilities, risk profiles, and presentations, and may include on-site support during customer negotiations.

In execution phase, the SCPS will be responsible for collaboration with entire SCM organization to monitor and provide status of material needed to support manufacturing. The SCPS will monitor and report on the cost and schedule and quality performance for the program. The SCPS will responsible for material forecasting, earned value analysis and variance reporting, presenting to the GSC and Program Leadership. The SCPS will be responsible for the entire material aspect of the programs including production equipment, test equipment, and engineering material requirements. The SCPS may be also responsible for the oversight of supply chain activities being performed on multiple programs.

This position will report to the Manager, Global Supply Chain for the ATS BU.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 6+ years of experienceinfinance, procurement, contracts, global supply chain

  • Earned Value& Variance Analysis reporting

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

  • Working knowledge of SAP & Material Receipts Forecasting

  • Demonstrated leadership success and ability to influence& interact with peers and all levels of management in the organization.

  • US Citizen and SECRET CLEARANCEwith Periodic Re-investigation within the last 3 years
