Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is looking for you to join our team as a Sr Staff Architecture Systems Engineer based out of Linthicum, MD or Fairfax VA.
As an Architecture Systems Engineer you will develop system architectures and define key capabilities and performance requirements. You will define design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications, develop thorough definition of system external interfaces, and define system implementation approach and operational concept. You will also ensure requirements are met and evaluate performance with the customer as a member of the team.
What you'll get to do:
• Define system architectures
• Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering methodologies
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Execution of trade studies to select from among multiple potential solutions
• Perform Systems Requirements analysis
• Management of requirements, include decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in STEM related degree with 14 + years of experience;12 years with a Master's; 9 years with a PhD; or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Current/Active TS/SCI
Candidate must be able to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph ( CI-Poly )
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
Salary Range: $170,600 - $268,100
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
