The Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, and creative Scrum Master position located at our Linthicum, MD facility. The Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) is located just outside of Baltimore, MD - where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production as well as emerging programs. We have over 21,000 square feet of Class 100 wafer fabrication cleanroom that supports variants of Si; SiGe; GaAs; SiC.
At Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information Office (CIO) we support the Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) – The ATL Applications team at ATL works to support the foundry on their production and development programs. Many people on our ATL Applications team work on one of the 7 agile teams (4 scrum teams and 3 kanban teams) who support over 100+ applications. The CIO is an integral part of the foundry process, interfacing with multiple other foundry groups on a daily basis.
NG CIO is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a software development or similar technical team. A successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, while fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning within the organization. The Scrum Master will need excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, and time management skills to excel in a fun sharing and learning environment in order to experiment with various ideas to improve delivery. As a Scrum Master, you will lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will monitor work progress and future states using Jira, educate and coach the teams in Scrum to ensure that the agile processes are being followed, and protect the team from scope creep during execution of the Program Increment (PI). You will also facilitate communication and effective collaboration between teams, stakeholders, and leadership to achieve successful project delivery.
This requisition may be filled as a Scrum Master or Principal Scrum Master .

Basic Qualifications for Scrum Master:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
Experience working in a software Agile delivery framework.
Experience as a scrum master or an agile coach.
Have a Scrum Master certification or other Agile certification.
Have strong leadership, communication, facilitation skills and servant leadership abilities.
Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira and Confluence) or similar suite.
Help remove impediments/roadblocks and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
Experience in determining and prioritize multiple stakeholder requests.
Work with the Chief Product Owner to review and prioritize features.
U.S. Citizenship required
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Scrum Master:
Bachelor’s Degree in with 5+ years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree in with 3+ years of relevant experience; PhD. with 1+ years of relevant experience.
Experience working in a software Agile delivery framework.
Experience as a scrum master or an agile coach.
Have a Scrum Master certification or other Agile certification.
Have strong leadership, communication, facilitation skills and servant leadership abilities.
Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira and Confluence) or similar suite.
Help remove impediments/roadblocks and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
Experience in determining and prioritize multiple stakeholder requests.

Preferred Qualifications:
Have an Advanced Scrum Master certification.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience as a software developer.
Knowledge of .Net Core (C# and Visual Basic) and JavaScript to provide technical advice
Experience translating functional requirements into technical requirements for software developers.
Experience with both COTS solution and custom application development.
Experience with program and non-program work.
Salary Range: $83,300 - $124,900
Salary Range 2: $102,400 - $153,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
