Northrop Grumman is looking for a Production Control Manager 1 to join our dynamic and diverse team environment at the Advanced Technology Labs (ATL) in Linthicum, Maryland . You will be working in a Foundry environment, supporting the manufacturing process of integrated circuits for production and development programs on a variety of processing nodes.
• Technical activities associated with the Production Control group, such as tracking priority lots, meeting operations metrics, prioritizing Work In Progress (WIP) and creating racetrack and waterfall charts, maintaining the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and updating product schedules as well as analyzing processes, mechanisms and equipment for efficiency and utilization.
• Management activities associated with the Production Control group such as hiring, onboarding, personnel performance assessments, time charging approval, and employee development
• The Production Control Manager will interface with operations personnel, Process Integration, Foundry Engineering, Program Management and other functional groups to ensure team performance, operational efficiency, and on-time deliveries.
The Production Control Manager should have proven leadership skills and a demonstrated track record of working and communicating with upper management & customer representatives. The qualified candidate must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervisory oversight.
