The Business Operations Planning Analyst for the Baltimore COE Hardware Engineering will manage the business operational aspects of Hardware Engineering and provide direct support to the Business Operations Manager of Hardware Engineering. The position will require interface across the Engineering and Sciences (E&S) leadership team. This role will be located at our Linthicum, MD Facility.

Responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of early career staffing needs and assignments including coordinating onboarding and engagement activities.

  • Management of staffing needs: work with functional departments to support work load forecast planning and metrics.

  • Generate and maintain the Hardware Engineering organization operational tempo. Enable efficient and standard reporting and visibility for multiple leadership reporting requirements.

  • Leading efforts for Baltimore COE Hardware Engineering organization such as long range strategic planning, managing various budgets ITA/IRAD, Capital, Emergency Response planning, and Lessons Learned activities.

  • Coordination across the Hardware Engineering organization to define facility requirements (seat assignments, long range planning). Coordination with facilities to obtain necessary space to support the organization.

  • Support Employee engagement initiatives, onboarding initiatives, university relations & recruitment, and hiring initiatives.

  • The candidate will also perform special assignments and lead special initiatives within Baltimore COE engineering organization
