Northrop Grumman Mgr Supply Chain Planning 2 in Linthicum, Maryland

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (MS) is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead Global Supply Chain (GSC) Functional Area strategies for the Sector.

Critical to the success of this role is demonstrated relationship building, influence at all levels of the organization and the ability to initiate and bring to closure multifunction and multidiscipline team projects.

This position establishes, oversees, and manages the development of sourcing strategies for emerging and legacy technologies and products. In collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Science and Technology (ES&T), Business Development, Business Management and other functional groups assesses Sector sourcing needs through aggregated program forecasts and develops and recommends innovative sourcing and investment strategies. Collaborates with Manufacturing Technology and ES&T in the pursuit and capture of Manufacturing Technology CRAD and Title III programs.

Assesses GSC operational challenges and in support of GSC leadership develops plans to meet operational objectives and alignment of objectives within functional roadmaps and the long range strategic plan.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, communication and writing skills and a desire to work with both technology and business strategies

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree with 8+ years' experience or Masters degree with 6+ years' experience in project management, industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering or supply chain.

3+ years of team lead and/or management of people

must be able to communicate effectively to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

Clearance Top Secret
