Northrop Grumman Mgr Programs 3 in Linthicum, Maryland

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Program Manager for our SABR business area to support the SABR Production Product Line. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing all phases of multiple contracts from inception (BD/Capture through all phases of execution supporting the SABR Production Programs Director. Participates in negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from various functional areas.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience managing/leading/building large teams in complex environments

  • Familiar with BAP, EVMS and Risk and Opportunity Management.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Must be a team player, independent, proactive, and possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated experience cultivating customer relationships and delivering strong customer satisfaction

  • Experience with DoD customer

  • Experience managing production HW and customer relationship

  • Knowledge of radar concepts and radar experience

  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills

  • Must have ability and business acumen to respond to quickly changing market conditions, customer environment, and emerging opportunities

  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience establishing supplier/sourcing strategy including Long Term Agreements

  • Experience with international business

  • 10 years of management experience in Functional Management, Engineering Management, or Program Management

  • 12 years of related experience

  • MBA or Master's Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field
