Northrop Grumman Configuration Analyst 2/3 in Linthicum, Maryland

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for an experienced Configuration/Data Management Analyst 2/3 to join our Baltimore, MD Space Systems team. This position will support the Contractual Data Requirements to deliver key solutions within the Northrop Grumman Corporation Space Systems Sector, Payload and Ground Systems Division and will report to the Remote Sensing Programs SEIT department. The Configuration/Data Management (CDM) Analyst is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive CDM process on programs, in accordance with established Northrop Grumman Space Systems CDM practices and customer requirements. This involves the management of program generated work products in the areas of configuration identification, change control management, status accounting, and configuration audits. These tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.

• Ability to provide for the scheduling, communication of customer data requirements, quality reviews, data status reporting, electronic/non-electronic data delivery, and archiving of Contractual Data Requirements List (CDRL) items (work products).

• Ensure on-time delivery of contractual data items.

• Responsible for coordinating the flow down of CDRL/work product requirements and/or management of receipt of work products to the subcontract supplier through preparation of Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).

• Family trees, configuration control board administration, engineering change proposals, deviations/waivers, status accounting reports, and coordinating functional and physical configuration audits.

• Analyze and coordinate proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

• Establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Candidates should have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, the ability and willingness to learn new software tools, and the capability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

• Bachelor degree with 3 years of experience in data management or related discipline (related disciplines include Business Administration, Business Management), Masters degree with 1 year of experience.

• Knowledge/experience of program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.

• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, presentation and computer skills required.

• Active Top Secret or SCI clearance.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

• Bachelor degree with 6 years of experience in data management or related discipline (related disciplines include Business Administration, Business Management), Masters degree with 4 year of experience.

• Knowledge/experience of program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.

• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, presentation and computer skills required.

• Active Top Secret or SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Access.

• Experience with SharePoint Administration.

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with a polygraph within 5 years.
