Did you know that Northrop Grumman's Advanced Technology Lab is developing advanced multi-function mixed-signal Integrated Circuits? These discriminating devices are developed and leveraged by Northrop Grumman to enable breakthrough system performance and new businesses.

We are seeking an Analog/Mixed Signal Integrated Circuit Designer with excellent design skills who will be contributing in a team environment in the development of state-of-the-art integrated circuits for use in Northrop Grumman systems. You will use your skills as an Integrated Circuit designer while applying them to a vast array of process technologies, system applications, and new technology development.

Tasks will include detailed circuit design and schematic creation, circuit simulation, manual layout, physical verification (Layout vs. Schematic and Design Rule Checking), and behavior modelling using Verilog-A or Verilog-AMS in a variety of silicon process technologies. The right candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic environment with experience in state-of-the-art CMOS and BiCMOS technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEMrelated fieldwith5 years of relevant experience. (3 years with a technical MS or 0 years with a PhD) Experience with some of the following: IC custom design tools (e.g. Cadence or Mentor) for schematic capture, circuit simulation, full custom layout; mixed-signal circuit design experience (Digital and Analog); physical verification skills utilizing Cadence Assura Able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree either MS or PhD

  • Current Secret clearance

  • Design automation skills (Scripting and programing in skill, Python, P-Cell generation and MatLab)

  • Excellent understanding of device physics

  • Experience with design analog opamps, otas and Band Gap Circuits

  • Electronics test lab experience

  • Experience with RFIC design
