Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Mission Assurance Manager 2 to join our team of diverse professionals. The selected candidate will become a part of our JSTARS program.
Roles and Responsibility:
Responsible for successful execution of all Joint STARS PDM Induction Inspection processes to include but not limited to: Ensure all incoming aircraft required inspections are completed and all defects and irregularities are captured within inspection Gate #2. This includes all AFTO-103 Inspection Items, SSOW inspection items and areas, aircraft forms/ delayed discrepancies as well as inspection cards flowed down by our customer.
Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs
Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements
Assesses program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance
Responsible for leadership and mentoring of Managers and Supervisors within the QA Organization
Responsible for ensuring a "first time quality" culture is demonstrated on the shop floor
Responsible for ensuring communication between first and second shift is effective and efficient
Responsible for creating effective and efficient repeatable processes
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a high School Diploma and 12 years relevant experience
Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints
Able to provide direction to determine priorities and achieve goals
Ability to compose materials such as detailed reports, work-related manuals, publications
Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems
Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret-Level Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
PDM or Depot maintenance experience in a commercial, military, or civilian contractor facility on large, multi-engine aircraft
Experience with "MSG-3" processes
Experience interfacing with Government customers
Experience communicating with all levels of Management
MS Office Skills
