Job Description

Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and 0 years relevant experience

  • Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours

  • Ability to be subject to both external and internal environmental conditions

  • Able to wear respirator or other safety gear

  • Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints on complex issues

  • Ability to make decisions which have impact on the organization's credibility, operations and services

  • Able to understand functional, structural or compositional characteristics

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 months experience working on aircraft related projects such as sheet metal repair, removal and replacing of parts

  • Enrolled or attending A&P certificate course.
