Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Technician Level 1 or 2 based out of Beavercreek, OH.
What You’ll get to Do: As a Manufacturing Technician you work on the next generation composite structures. This job involves the fabrication of composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and final finishing. It will require development of skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce product that meet our customer expectations. Tasks may be in team environments or individual based.
This position will support our C shift (Fri - Sun, 3/12 schedule) production.
This role can be filled at a Manufacturing Technician 1 or Principal Manufacturing Technician 2 depending on the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications for Level 1:
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Ability to work flexible/changing schedules and weekends
Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
Available to work any shift
Basic Qualifications Level 2 :
High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 2 year's experience in an aerospace, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Ability to work flexible/changing schedules and weekends
Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
Available to work any shift
Preferred Qualifications:
Composite experience and/or certification
Previous composite, manufacturing, or production experience
Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures

Salary Range: $18 - $30
Salary Range 2: $21 - $35
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
