Are you ready to your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our team as a P-3 SCA Supply Technician. This full-time position is located in Jacksonville, Florida. You will become part of Northrop Grumman’s P-3 Customs and Border Protection Program.

This is a Service Contract Act position.

Your duties will include:

  • Handle all applicable logistics functions for the applicable aircraft operational sites and depot to include transferring, ordering, packing, shipping, and receiving DoD and commercial material.

  • Package and ship hazardous material.

  • Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

  • Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.

  • Corrective action review and reporting to include monitoring status of corrective and preventive actions and tracking through closure, reviewing/analyzing defect data, closure status, monitoring causal analysis and resolution.

  • Supports hardware control First Article Inspections, close-out and delivery inspections and control of end item data packages.

  • This job has decision-making responsibilities with regard to the acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed and the determination of measuring equipment used.

  • Inspects and performs tests on mechanical, electrical, or structural components and assemblies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years applicable experience or a bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience working directly in supply chain and /or logistics roles may also be considered.

  • Basic level of understanding of complex quality policies, procedures, and governmental regulations, including AS9100

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as specified by the business.

  • Experience with SAP, perform receiving inspection, acceptance and rejection of material and assemblies.

  • Experience or certification to IPC or Military Standards for Inspection.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Dept of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation within a reasonable amount of time as specified by the business. This is Required to Start.

  • US Citizenship required.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, and critical thinking skills

  • Develop/maintain metric to track non-conforming parts, supplier corrective action request

  • Experience with hazardous shipping and handling

  • Ability to drive a forklift and utilize hand tools

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP expertise

  • ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 trained auditor

  • Familiar with AS9102

  • Aerospace and Defense Industry experience

  • Knowledge and experience in the use of SAP MRP system Quality Module including deficiency reporting.

  • Aerospace and Defense inspection

  • Six Sigma Training

Salary Range: $28 - $31

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
