Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our team as a Shipping / Receiving Coordinator. This full-time position is located in Jacksonville, FL.
You will become part of Northrop Grumman's P-3 Customs and Border Protection Program.
In this role, you will:
Handle all applicable logistics functions for the operations site, to include transferring, ordering, packing, shipping, and receiving DoD and commercial material
Conduct inventory analysis, stock forecasting, stock replenishment and kitting of required materials
Monitor parts due in for maintenance and manage the movement of those assets within the program’s supplier network
Package and ship hazardous materials
Basic Qualifications:
A High School diploma and a minimum of 7 yrs experience in supply chain and / or logistics roles. A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years working directly in supply chain and / or logistics roles may also be considered.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience with hazardous shipping and handling
Ability to drive a forklift and utilize hand tools
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems
Forklift operation certified
Hazmat shipper qualified
Aircraft Load Planner certified
Experience in inventory analysis, material forecasting and transportation management
A current security clearance (Secret or higher)
A current DHS background investigation
Salary Range: $28 - $28
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
