Northrop Grumman is looking for a Trainer Production Level 3 or 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Iuka, MS where technology and teamwork come together.

The Trainer Production performs job training, skills training, and some classroom training in ASTAR Training Center as well as assembly and production areas. Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees.

Basic Qualifications:

This position may be filled at a Level 3 or Level 4 based on the qualifications outlined below.

Level 3

  • High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in an operations or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with hydraulic parts, assemblies, components, and systems in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, etc.

  • Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds and working overhead.

  • Ability t o obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Clearance is not required to apply.

Level 4

  • High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in an operations or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with hydraulic parts, assemblies, components, and systems in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, etc.

  • Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds and working overhead.

  • Ability t o obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Clearance is not required to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as an instructor in operations

  • Experience with training systems or programs

  • Ability and experience in analyzing, designing, and developing publications and training materials

  • Strong background in electrical and hydraulics systems

  • Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution systems)

  • Read and Interpret blueprints.

  • Knowledge of Inspection criteria

  • Compliance knowledge

Salary Range: $42,400 - $70,600

Salary Range 2: $50,400 - $84,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
