Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Material Requirements Planning Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Iuka, MS where technology and teamwork come together.

This position does not have the option to work remote and requires the chosen candidate to work on-site in Iuka, MS .

Our team is looking for an individual who will make a difference for themselves and the company in the area of material planning. The selected candidate will be an integral part of the success of the global supply chain team at our Iuka facility by managing and inputting material requirements on the front end of the process and monitoring and controlling the inventory usage on the back end of the process.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Essential Functions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, prepare, and schedule the material supply to meet production needs

  • Perform MRP/ROP variance analysis to ensure order trigger accuracy

  • Ensure consumption inputs reflect operational manufacturing usage

  • Maintain material usage reports to support quantity change initiatives

  • Enter material requirement requisitions in the ERP system signaling procurement activities and track deliveries to ensure support of production schedules

  • Generate documents to signal material release to operations and inventory reductions based on actual material quantities used

  • Analyzes manufacturing, enterprise resource planning, and other material requirements based on needs of assembly demands, component replenishments, substitute parts or materials, production set ups, engineering changes and enterprise supplies.

  • Resolves schedule, material requirement or business system problems with cross-functional representatives.

  • Resolves master schedules and production problems and negotiates lead times.

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at a Material Requirements Planning Analyst (Level 2) or Principal Material Requirements Planning Analyst (Level 3) level based on the qualifications below.

Material Requirements Planning Analyst (Level 2)

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in materials requirements planning/coordination, procurement, or related professional experience; Master's Degree and 1 year of experience in materials requirements planning/coordination, procurement, or related professional experience. Note: An additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Proficiency using MS Excel & PowerPoint with the ability to understand, utilize and generate pivot tables, lookup formulas and presentations.

  • Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Principal Material Requirements Planning Analyst (Level 3)

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in materials requirements planning/coordination, procurement, or related professional experience; Master's Degree and 4 years of experience in materials requirements planning/coordination, procurement, or related professional experience. Note: An additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Proficiency using MS Excel & PowerPoint with the ability to understand, utilize and generate pivot tables, lookup formulas and presentations.

  • Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Dod Secret Clearance or higher

  • Prior work experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry

  • Knowledge of scheduling in all systems (Project, Excel, etc.)

  • APICS certification in supply chain and/or production control

  • Knowledge and use of ERP/MRP systems within the material planning software (Deltek Costpoint focus a plus)

Salary Range: $52,200 - $78,400

Salary Range 2: $64,200 - $96,400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
