Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Level 3 or Level 4 Facilities Representative to support our facility engineering team on site at our Iuka, Mississippi location.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment with diverse assignments. Our team is highly collaborative, working in team settings across all levels and subject areas including operations, engineering, supply chain and mission assurance. We enjoy working in a production environment and being hands on to solve problems that influence company performance.
Responsibilities are in more than one of the following facilities areas: facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing or real estate coordination. Works closely with and/or provides advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities.
The candidate will be an integral part of the Facilities Engineering team and have a wide variety of roles and responsibilities. Those responsibilities can include working closely with the facility engineers to coordinate contractors supporting capital projects by submitting and tracking purchase requisitions, scheduling work in the buildings, and tracking invoices.
Job Duties:
Purchase requisition tracking
Contractor scheduling
Developing, measuring, and maintaining the department metrics
Project planning support
Tracking of estimate requests and capital requests
Permitting, safety requirements and oversight for contract safety and labor
Attending various daily meetings
Execute and track purchase card expenditures
Presenting metrics during department meetings
This role may be filled at the Principal or Senior Principal level based on the Qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 3 Principal Facilities Representative:
Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of related work experience OR a Master's Degree with 3 years related work experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance
Strong MS skills including MS Project
Excellent interpersonal skills must be able to positively interact with workers, contractors, management, and customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Detail oriented and able to understand facility and team goals
Ability to work unsupervised
Level 4 Senior Principal Facilities Representative:
Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of related work experience OR a Master's Degree with 8 years related work experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 14 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance
Strong MS skills including MS Project
Excellent interpersonal skills must be able to positively interact with workers, contractors, management, and customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Detail oriented and able to understand facility and team goals
Ability to work unsupervised
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Construction and Project planning
Experience with Archibus/Integrated workplace management software
Experience with AutoCAD
Experience with MS SharePoint
Experience with CostPoint
Experience budget tracking with MS Excel
Familiarity with multiple construction disciplines
Ability to read drawings, schematics, and interpret detail
Experience in permitting processes, demolition, hazard abatement

Salary Range: $70,600 - $106,000
Salary Range 2: $87,500 - $131,300
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
