Inspects aircraft components, parts, and sub-assemblies for operation and conformance to government and/or company standards and specifications. Inspects the adjustments, repairs, or modifications made to aircraft components, sub-assemblies and final product. Will monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. May communicate directly with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work Schedule: C- shift 7AM to 7:30PM Friday to Sunday
Work Schedule: D-shift 7PM to 7:30AM Friday to Monday morning
Level 1 Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required (education will be verified)
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work in order to accomplish multiple assigned tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Provide input to the technical needs and solutions required for the manufacture, inspection of materials and components.
Ability to record detailed information accurately and in a timely manner.
Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working overhead.
Must be able to access small, confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment.
The ability to pass New Hire Physical/Respiratory Exam.
Must be able to work around composites, epoxies, and sealants for long periods of time.
Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
Must pass visual exam
Level 2 Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED required (education will be verified) a minimum of 2 years of relevant mechanical and/or inspection experience
Experience in inspection processes; knowledge and use of inspection and testing instruments
Experience with common quality systems such as non-conformances, cause/corrective actions.
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work in order to accomplish multiple assigned tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Provide input to the technical needs and solutions required for the manufacture, inspection of materials and components.
Ability to record detailed information accurately and in a timely manner.

Experience in a highly technical aerospace/manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with the quality process
Work experience in manufacturing of composite parts.
Related industry experience in either manufacturing or inspection.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Salary Range: $39,800 - $66,300
Salary Range 2: $47,300 - $78,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
