Description

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a self-motivated, hard-working full-time System Administrator 3 for the Republic of Korea (ROK) Global Hawk Program in Sacheon, Republic of Korea. The Systems Administrator will maintain smooth operations of the Ground Segment consisting of multi-user computer, network, and communication systems installed.

Position Summary / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for configuration and maintenance of multi-purpose servers, workstations, and storage arrays in a secure environment

  • Implement recovery procedures to include the backup and potential restoration within agreed timeframes

  • Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance

  • Comply with security requirements, which may include routine system checks for Antivirus, logging, and network system services

  • Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists

  • Recommend and implement approved system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management

  • Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed

Basic Qualifications level 3

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant work experience or10 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree

  • Experience with Microsoft Server, Windows domain architectures, Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systems

  • Linux Operating System experience and/or certification for current versions

  • Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools

  • Rudimentary scripting experience

  • Active US SECRET Clearance required

  • Able to commit to a 2 year overseas assignment

  • Capable of completing assigned work with limited guidance / supervision

  • Must be able to support the 24/7 operations environment and adapt to changing priorities based on mission need

  • Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required

Basic Qualifications level 4

  • Bachelor's degree and11 years of relevant work experience or15 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience with Microsoft Server, Windows domain architectures, Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with fielded military IT Systems or Unmanned Systems

  • Hold the following certifications:
