Northrop Grumman Offset Project Lead - Hardware in International, United States
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Offset ProjectLead Hardware/Production to manage training Polish Industry. This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama initially and after contract award will be located in Warsaw, Poland.
The individual will be responsible for multiple activities including, but not limited to the following:
Roles and responsibilities:
-Lead the Northrop Grumman hardware production training related efforts associated with the development and execution of offset projects for the WISLA (IBCS/Patriot) FMS case.
-Lead multiple individual projects where the effort is executed in Poland utilizing resources from the U.S.
- Responsible for all activities associated with executing the Northrop Grumman portion of the WISLA Offset Technology Transfer Agreement as well as meeting all requirements associated with the corresponding subcontract with the prime contractor that will govern those efforts.
-Manage multiple projects and support in planning, organizing and synchronizing offset projects for delivery to various Polish companies.
-Managea project budget to successfully complete the offset projects on schedule and within cost.
Act as primary point of contact for the project (hardware/production), supporting the Northrop Grumman Offset Manager of Poland and WISLA IBCS personnel in Poland
Work collaboratively with the Offset Manager to align strategic objectives with project implementation to satisfy Customer requirements and ensure success in meeting project goals and objectives
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 10 years of relevant experience. 4 years of additional Project/Product Management experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
Project Management experience, specifically, experience in hardware/production project management
Experience in hardware production methodologies
3 years of Project/Product Management experience or Business, Contracts/Subcontracts, Resource, Planning
Strong leadership and teamwork skills
Must be able to interact with management team and communicate effectively (oral and written reporting)
Excellent computer skills w/MS Office Suite
Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
Strong understanding of Northrop Grumman policies and practices;
Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance;
Experience with DoD acquisition programs;
Excellent command of / highly proficient in spoken and written Polish language because of the daily interface this position requires with Polish industry
