Northrop Grumman Test/Systems Analyst 3 in Huntsville, Alabama

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Test/Systems Analyst 3 for the Engineering, Sciences & Technology (ES&T) Central Region Engineering, Huntsville, AL Site. In the Mission Systems sector, you'll join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe.

The qualified applicant will work in our Huntsville, Alabama office, headquarters for the Missile Defense and Protective Systems (MDPS) division.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software solutions.

Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.

Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.

Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

Basic Qualifications:

5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.

or 9 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Must be able to work in a technical team environment characterized by frequently changing tasks, new priorities and quick responses

Experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, analyzing results and creating reports

Experience with UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems


Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience testing SW for performance and functionality based on requirement specification and ability to identify and document exact sequence of activities desired

Experience in a test lead role

Experience in a CMMI Level 5 organization

Experience with automated testing

Must be able to work in a technical team environment characterized by frequently changing tasks, new priorities and quick responses
