Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst . This position is located in Huntsville, AL and supports the Sentinel program.
What You'll Get To Do:
Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP), Strategic Deterrent Systems Division has an opening for a Manufacturing Analyst (A3/A4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the Sentinel (GBSD) Program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Final grade level offered will be based on suitable applicant experience.
The selected candidate will support Manufacturing Engineering and Standard Tooling teams across the program. We seek a Manufacturing Analyst that will use a unique skill set and hands-on approach to performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization and liaison. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Submission and follow-up on rapid request orders (RRO's) for industrial supplies.
Generate reports to identify aging tool replacements needed.
Lead aging tool removal processes.
Monitor aging checkouts of tools by mechanics and send out appropriate notifications.
Coordinate new tool deliveries including new consumable delivery system for new areas.
Communicate with production teams regarding newly designated areas for assets.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Principal Manufacturing Analyst: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of related experience or 4 years with Master's degree.
Sr. Principal Manufacturing Analyst: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 10 years of related experience or 8 years with Master's degree
Must be US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret clearance investigated within the last 6 years, and ability to obtain access to special program (PAR) as a condition of continued employment.
Ability to navigate MES or similar platform.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
SAP knowledge or experience.
MES knowledge or experience.
CPLM knowledge or experience.
NX knowledge or experience.
Experience interpreting engineering documentation (models / 2D drawings).
Experience with manufacturing planning, work instruction / visual aid development, and/or manufacturing process development.
Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and PC computer skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Salary Range: $82,400 - $123,600
Salary Range 2: $102,200 - $153,200
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
