Northrop Grumman Property Administrator 2 in Huntsville, Alabama

This position is in Huntsville, AL working in the Government Program Property Management Organization. Successful candidate will interpret and implement property administration policy in accordance with company, contract and customer regulations. Provide propertyadministration to ensure that requirements for customer property inventory, records and controls are met.

Assist in administratinga variety of Property Management duties within a dynamic growing organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, receiving property, identification, tagging, tracking, control, data entry andshipping and receiving. Material stores experience required, including, but not limited to, receipt and issue of material, inventory accountability anddata entry processes. Assist with property control functions including inventories of Government assets. Pre-Procurement coordinator responsibilities which include Purchase Requisition preparation, on line filing, procurement/contract research and verification, acquiring signature authorization and data entry.

Candidate should possess strong organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, multi-task, coordinate, research and resolve a wide range of problems and issues while working effectively and diplomatically with others.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 year experience in accountability/control Government Furnished Property or 1 year of related experience and a Masters degree. 7 years of related experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.

  • Experience in inventory and warehouse related functions

  • Experience with a property management system

  • Ability to lift 35lbs

  • Windows PC skills

  • Interim Secret Clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the following areas is required:

  • Experience in accountability/control of Government Furnished Property

  • Experience in inventory and warehouse related functions

  • Ability to work with all levels of management

  • Knowledge of FAR & DFARS

  • AssetSmart (Property accountability database)

  • SAP accounting (material/property) functions
