Northrop Grumman Process Improvement Analyst 4 in Huntsville, Alabama
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Program Process Improvement Lead to support the WISLA IBCS Program. This position is responsible for providing overall leadership in defining, designing and implementing the process effectiveness program for the Poland WISLA IBCS program. The position requires a strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality engineering techniques, and Mission Assurance planning and protocol. The mission assurance planning and protocol includes the analysis of risk mitigation, leading for continuous improvement, and design, and analysis of process effectiveness. Familiarity with the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) command media approach to implementation of quality management systems is a strong plus. This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Specific responsibilities include:
Creation of program processes and procedures to ensure consistent, quality products are delivered to internal and external customers.
Initiating and Supporting Continuous Improvement activities including basic process improvements and Six Sigma projects, where appropriate.
Coordination of Corrective and Preventive Action System status and inputs.
Coordination of CMMI L5 and AS9100-related activities on the program, including preparation for internal and external assessments, as required.
Managing the Six Sigma program.
Providing process effectiveness and CMMI-related inputs to the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) during proposal and down-select activities.
Participation in Division and Sector process effectiveness initiatives as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Information Technology (or related field) and a minimum of 10 years' experience with quality management or process effectiveness in program environments, or, Master's Degree + 8 years' of experience. Four additionalyears of process-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality engineering techniques, and Mission Assurance planning and protocol.
-Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance
Experience with Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and AS9100 desired
Familiarity with the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) command media approach to implementation of quality management systems is a strong plus.
Six Sigma certification or experience in other Process Improvement Methodology desired
Active Secret clearance
